The certifying party — where the service includes certification, the lawyer, solicitador, notary, registry office or chamber of commerce necessarily has access to the document and the translation. These parties are bound by their own professional secrecy.
Public authorities — where there is a legal duty to disclose.

Data is never transmitted for commercial purposes, nor sold or transferred to third parties, under any circumstances.

Retention periods

Working documents and correspondence: for as long as needed to carry out the service and manage the client relationship, including any later reissue or query. Deleted at the client's request, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
Invoicing records: for the retention period required by tax law.

Security and confidentiality

MSR TRANSLATIONS treats professional documents and communications as confidential. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure.

No electronic transmission is entirely free of risk. Particularly sensitive documents should therefore be sent by means appropriate to the nature of their content.

Where contact is made by professionals who are themselves bound by professional secrecy, the same duty of secrecy is assumed by the Translator/Interpreter, by legal extension in the exercise of their functions, in accordance with the legislation in force.
